Unexpected hiatus

First of all, I'd like to apologize for my extended and unexpected absence from Deviant Art. It's not that I've given up on the site or drawing; far from it.
You see, this spring I began experiencing chronic pain around my knees. It gradually began to spread up into my thighs, my trunk, and eventually my shoulders all while I began getting weaker by the day. I also began to have trouble swallowing, going up stairs, getting out of chairs, etc. for no obvious reason. I was taking pain killers several times a day just to dull pain enough to get on with my day, but the strength of those pain killers just kept getting stronger to deal with the pa
